Tabbouleh Recipe (Salad)

Ingredients

Should be all fresh and cleaned well

·        ½ cup of burgle wheat
·        2 to 3 bunches of parsley chopped
·        1 bunch of green fresh mint chopped
·        1 bunch  of green spring onions        chopped
·        4 small tomatoes (400 grams) chopped
·        5 leafs of lettuce chopped
·        1 or 2 table spoon SALT (as per your taste)
·        1/2 cup lemon juice,
·        1/2 cup olive oil,

How to make Tabouli salad at home in easy steps. Tabouli is a salad recipe. Tabouleh salad is low in calories and rich in vitamins and yet filling. Tabouleh is a Middle Eastern (Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine) delicious side dish or might call it salad that has become very popular in the world. Full of great fresh ingredients, this is my tabouleh recipe. Tabouli, Taboule or Tabouleh no matter how you spell it, tabouleh is a great summer time dish. And this tabouleh recipe will soon be a favorite salad at your Table too.
Place the burgle wheat in bowl and rinse under cool water three times. Cover it with water to soften it. Sit it for 15 minutes. Then Squeeze it to drain the water out of it.

Meanwhile, mix all your vegetables in large bowl, mixing gently. Add the burgle wheat, and mix well. Add salt, olive oil and the lemon juice.

Ingredients

1 Round Arabic bread (to be baked or fried) and cut to small pieces.
2 Fresh cucumbers finely cut (to be peeled as desired)
2 Tomatoes, finely diced
3 or 4 red radish, finely diced
2 cups shredded lettuce (romaine and/or iceberg)
2 tablespoons (or more) pomegranate molasses
½ green capsicum, finely diced

4 spring onions, finely diced
3 tbsp. mint, finely chopped
½ cup parsley, finely chopped
2 green sweet peppers
1 lemon, juiced
60 ml (¼ cup) olive oil
2 spoons ground sumak
Salt as desired

Instructions
Deep-fry the Arabic bread in the oil. Or, you can toast until golden brown, break into bite-size. This will make the bread nice and crispy.
Place the bread on absorbent paper if it was fried and when cool, crumble in your hands until it breaks into small pieces and put it in the bottom of the bowl.
Mix the rest of the ingredients with the bread and toss with the dressing.

Feta Cheese Salad

INGREDIENTS

3 arugula (rocket leaves), cleaned and cut into medium pieces
1 lettuce head, small, washed and cut into medium pieces
3 chives, cleaned and sliced
15 cherry tomatoes, or 1 medium tomato cut into small pieces
100 g feta cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
Feta Cheese
4 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon mustard
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Little salt if required for taste

COOKING METHOD

1. Mix rocket leaves, lettuce and chives in a deep bowl. Then add in the tomatoes and mix ingredients by hand.

 2. Prepare the sauce in a bowl by combining the olive oil, vinegar, mustard, basil, oregano, crushed garlic and salt together.

3. Add the sauce to the vegetables in the bowl and mix well. Then add in the feta cubes on the surface.

4. Serve immediately
